First of all, designer Titania Jordan is one of those people you want to be your best friend as soon as you meet her. At least I did. Second of all, her work is stunning. She has tremendous talent, and her jewelry is very reasonably priced. I had a blast working with Titania to custom design jewelry as gifts for all my bridesmaids.

If you haven't heard of it, my heart mourns your loss. If you don't like it, you're dead, because anyone with senses will adore this stuff: natural, vegetarian products, handmade with a sense of humor.

Call me a prude, but I've never really understood the whole throwing your bra at, and "visiting" the tour bus of musicians thing. Until Ben Taylor: the spawn of Carly Simon and James Taylor. I suddenly got it when I saw him in concert. But that's really neither here nor there. Bottom-line: his mellow, humor-laced tunes are wonderful. Major talent. Good genes, anyone?

The best concert of my life was a Bob concert. Nothing personal against Bob, because I did in all fairness discover him before Ben, but he didn't really inspire me to change my morals, because I'm a little OCD about cleanliness, and he's, well, pretty dirty. But, if you have a homeless man fetish, he may totally be your cup of tea. Otherwise, you'll probably just enjoy his music. A good mix of mellow and rock that reminds me of the hippie tunes I was raised on.

Her song Wally, about her grandparents' love, is the most compelling and heartfelt love song I've ever heard. I cry (hard) every time I hear it. We also share a bond over the Elton John song "Goodbye Yellowbrick Road", which she covers at every concert. I went to an Aslyn concert with mono and strep throat. In my defense, I didn't realize I had strep until the next day, and it was another week on the mono, but in her defense, I probably would have gone anyway.
